天下之至柔，

The softest thing in the world

馳騁天下之至堅。

dashes against and overcomes the hardest.

無有入無間，

That which has no substance enters where there is no space,

吾是以知無為之有益。

I know hereby what advantage belongs to "doing nothing".

不言之教，

There are few in the world who attain the

無為之益，

teaching without words, and the

天下希及之。

advantage arising from non-action.
